Love Is…….

When you think of the word Love what are your thoughts? Love can be a challenge to define at the level of how a person experiences it. Love can involve personal affection, sexual attraction, platonic admiration, brotherly loyalty, benevolent concern, or worshipful adoration. To accurately answer the question (“what is love?”) we need to go to the origin of love. The Bible tells us that love originates in God.

What is the greatest act of Love? John 3:16

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. There is no greater love than a Heavenly Father giving his only son, and the son that gave his life for the redemption of all mankind that will believe.

Redemption you may asked? Romans 10:9

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
