We are living in a time where the pressures of life will literally drain you of every ounce of strength you have in your body. We endure situations that we often ask, Why me? Why do I have to go through this? Why did I go through that? Now let me offer some words of encouragement.

In the natural life leaders pick certain people because they have confidence in their ability to perform certain task. Some people are not capable of getting the job done. That’s why certain people are selected for certain projects. In order to be productive, a leader must choose their strongest team members to perform the more complicated task. That sets up the opportunity to have a better chance at success.

In a Spiritual life it works the same way. God will pick certain people to fight certain battles. We are all on different levels. All of us have a certain amount of faith. For example, I’ll use lightweight faith, middleweight faith and heavyweight faith.

Lightweight faith consist of something like sitting in a chair and believing it will hold your weight when you sit down. Possibly turning the ignition believing your car will crank. You can believing that you are going to have money because you get paid the next day. Things like that.

Middleweight faith consist of believing that he will supply all of your needs, especially if you have a good job. When you believe that tylenol will cure you headache. When you feel that If you ask generous family member for financial assistance they will help.

Heavyweight faith is that, I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me! Declaring by Jesus stripes I am healed! God can open doors that no man can open and close doors no man can close! No weapon formed against me shall prosper! These are some of the values you must have in your heart and your spirit to be picked by God for those hard battles.

We sing that song I’m on the Battle Field for my Lord. God doesn’t need any coward soldiers so he picks the strongest soldiers for the frontline battle. Spiritual minded people that can rise above it all and still proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If God allows you to get to it, he will give you the strength to go through it.

So hold your head up! be a Warrior! Trust God in the process.
