Being around someone that is always negative is a situation that you should try to avoid. Have you ever been around someone like that? We have to use enough energy keeping ourselves motivated without some one pilling us down.

People will try to use you like a garbage can and empty all their problems on you. If they are looking for answers that is one thing but most of the time they are not. They go on and on and on about things that they have gone through. You could be having a great day when they leave you will be drained and just as depressed as they are if you allow it.

What you have to do is immediately take control of the situation. Sure some things require a sympathetic ear so you have to use wisdom. One of my favorite scriptures that I refer to is Nehemiah 8:10 (read it when you get a chance) It was stating, Go and enjoy good food and sweet drinks. Send some to people who have none. Today is a holy day to the Lord. But most important Your Joy in Lord is Your Strength! So no matter what you are going through If you focus on the goodness Lord you can lift you Mind and Spirit above all situations and your Joy will be overwhelming.
