Matthew 17:20 – And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

So many times we find ourselves falling short on many things we attempt to do. Just when you think you have completed the project or reached a destination something happens and nothing works out. At that moment we begin to question ourselves. These thoughts often go through our heads.

It wasn’t a good idea from the start? Was the idea bad or the plan and preparation to execute the plan bad? When you have a vision you must write it down and make it plain. An idea is just the thought process. For your idea to be successful you must have a plan. So write it down and make sure you put all the things that may go right and all the things that could possibly go wrong. Then you have everything covered and you can proceed with your plan.

Why did I fail? There are many reasons you can come up with to explain why things didn’t work out. The question should be, what can I do different to make this work in my favor? Here is one definite fact you can count on that will guarantee failure. If you quit and don’t keep trying, failure is the only option. If you try something and it works the first time you should cherish that moment. Some of your greatest inventions took years to perfect. The important factor is they didn’t allow themselves to give up. Slow doesn’t have to mean no! It’s just delayed for a while. Eventually if you stay positive you can make things work in your favor.

They told me it wasn’t going to work? Eliminate all negative opinions. If someone is not there to give you positive feedback or encourage your ideas send them away. Most failures are cause by other people who can’t see your vision. Why? Because it’s your vision and not theirs.

The point is everyone has an opinion but that is not the defining thought that determines your success. Pursue you dreams and believe in your success. Remember, failure is not when something didn’t work. Failure is when you refuse to get up, regroup and try again.
